JSCC’s Annual Pioneer Day marks 60th Anniversary

Students, alumni, employees and the community united on campus to enjoy food, fun, and fellowship. The day also included special events, such as the grand opening of the new Workforce Education Center and the unveiling of the Legacy Courtyard.

The new Workforce Education Center will expand training opportunities and meet the high-demand workforce needs of Central Alabama by offering skilled training in essential fields like lineworker, HVAC, multi-craft, and electrical. The facility features flexible laboratory and classroom spaces that can be adapted for a wide range of education programs.

The Legacy Courtyard provides an opportunity for students, alumni, employees and friends to purchase a personalized commemorative brick to be displayed in a special location on campus. Proceeds from the brick sales benefit scholarships, campus enhancements, and student programs.
